July 4th

Parades, parades, parades! I went to the coralville parade, but didn't have a very good view, so no pics-I know!!!
But the Oxford parade-now we're talking!!

It's just not the 4th with out some tractors, horses, classic cars, and kids scrambling for candy!! My favrite parade entry was in coralville-a good lookeing SUV-Mom-ish type, with poster board signs on each side reading "No sponsor"  then on the back doors another poster board on each side "kids just like to throw stuff".  What fun!!!

We saw Cars 2 again and Super 8. I really liked super 8-it was kind of E.T. ish. I liked Cars 2 better the second time-less distractions with no windsheild wipers and lightening!

Busy Weekend-Banner Day Though!

So I got one of the pair of banners I have planned for Church done. Looks pretty good...except

See that letter a? I got the longest word on nice & straight but I can't handle a single letter...go figure huh.

I should take pictures of the process sometime. I get a little better each time I make one. Now off to finish the rest of this pair!
