Poor Christina.....

You know, it had to happen. Hubs and I were eating supper, listening to the start of the Super Bowl and I looked at him and he looked at me and said, "did she just f up the National Anthem?" Why yes, as a matter of fact, she did. WoW!! Poor thing. I imagine they would have done better to have Lea Michelle sing the National Anthem, she was good with America the Beautiful, which quite a few folks think is the National Anthem anyways.

Deep Snow Part 2-Morning After

 Look at my Baby, clearing the snow for me!

 Lookie here's my Son-In-Law running the snow blower-look how deep that drift in front of the garage was!

 They brought their friend Larry who scooped with his ATV.

 Well the trees look pretty with snow frosting on them don't they!

Let's hope that's all the snow for awhile!!!

Deep Snow!

For the 1st time ever I couldn't get to work because of snow.

I hand shoveled in front of the garage door to pull the car out-my side of the driveway only!!LOL...that drift was about 3'tall!!

I could get out of the driveway, but the snowplows were called off the roads so the county road in front of the house was DEEP!

So instead of being cozy at home in bed, I was baby sitting a temperamental furnace. Apparently I had the perfect storm of wind-to blow out the furnace, snow-to come down the flue-or chimney-or something, and melting snow- to keep the pilot from lighting. After watching the temp inside the house drop to about 65 degrees, I was finally successful at getting the heat going again. Phew!!!! It was pretty chilly!

Enough With the Snow Already!!!

So I guess I don't have to remind anyone that it's still winter in Iowa, huh!

 I just ran the snowblower and look it's already drifting in.....wahhhhhh!!!
